Mohawk Mustangs Girls Volleyball 3-0 Willamette Valley Christian

Mohawk swept Willamette Valley Christian 3-0 in a nonleague girls volleyball match Wednesday evening in Marcola, Oregon, as the 1A-3 Mountain West League program continued to build momentum heading into the postseason. The Indians dominated all three sets without dropping one, a clean performance that underscored just how sharp this group has been throughout the fall. Mohawk entered the night at 21-5 and moved to 22-5 with the victory, one of the stronger records in Class 1A volleyball this season. For a squad that has faced and beaten quality competition all year, Wednesday's effort against Willamette Valley Christian was another reminder that this team is clicking at the right time. The sweep also gave players additional confidence going into what promises to be a demanding stretch of playoff volleyball. Mohawk will look to carry this energy into its next contest as the postseason picture comes into sharper focus.
