SMS Terms and Conditions

Eugene Sports Hub SMS Alerts

Eugene Sports Hub is a local sports media platform serving the Lane County community. Our SMS alert program sends opted-in subscribers real-time game scores, schedule changes, game day reminders, end-of-night scoreboards, and youth registration deadline alerts for the teams and sports they have chosen to follow.

The only way to subscribe to Eugene Sports Hub SMS Alerts is to check a consent box on one of our websites. The box appears in two places, and both show the same game alerts consent language:

• The consent form on our Text Alerts page. The same form, with the same consent checkboxes, also appears on our signup page.
• The optional text alerts section of our Follow Teams page, where you choose the teams you want to follow.

On the Text Alerts page

1. Go to eugenesportshub.com/text-alerts.
2. Enter your mobile phone number.
3. Check the box or boxes for the messages you want. There are two separate choices: game alerts (scores, schedule changes, game day reminders, end-of-night scoreboards) and registration deadlines and program news. Both are unchecked by default and never pre-selected for you.
4. Submit the form.

The two are independent. You can receive game alerts without agreeing to registration and program news, and you can change either choice at any time.

On the Follow Teams page

1. Go to eugenesportshub.com/follow, choose the teams you want to follow, and continue.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Select Want text alerts too? Add your phone (optional) and enter your mobile phone number.
4. Check the game alerts box. It is unchecked by default and never pre-selected for you, and it shows the same game alerts consent language as the Text Alerts page.
5. Select Save My Teams.

The game alerts box on the Follow Teams page is separate from following teams. Your teams are saved whether or not you check it, and you can follow teams by email only. This page offers game alerts only. To get registration deadlines and program news by text, use the Text Alerts page.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Both forms submit successfully if you leave the text alert boxes unchecked.

If you previously subscribed through one of these forms and then texted STOP, you can text START, SUBSCRIBE, JOIN, or YES to resume messages. These keywords only re-enable messages for numbers that already opted in through one of the forms above. They are not a standalone way to subscribe.

Game alerts: message frequency varies by season and by the teams you follow. Typical subscribers receive 2–10 messages per week during active sports seasons, with higher volume on game days. Coaches participating in the score reporting network typically receive 1–3 messages per game day during active seasons.

Registration deadlines and program news: approximately 1–4 messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply. Eugene Sports Hub does not charge for SMS messages, but standard carrier rates from your wireless provider apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all Eugene Sports Hub SMS communications. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.
