Mohawk Mustangs Girls Volleyball 3-0 Alsea

A clean sweep put Mohawk volleyball in a strong position Saturday, as the Mohawks defeated Alsea 3-0 in a non-league matchup at home in Marcola, Oregon. The 1A-3 Mountain West League program now carries a 21-5 record heading into the final stretch of the fall season.

Mohawk controlled all three sets without allowing Alsea to force a fourth, a sign of a team playing with confidence and purpose. The Mohawks entered the match at 20-5 and wasted no time building on that foundation, handling a visiting Alsea squad that had no answer for Mohawk's consistency across the net.

With the postseason approaching, Saturday's performance offered an encouraging look at a Mohawk squad that has quietly built one of the more impressive records in the region at this level. The ability to close out an opponent in straight sets speaks to depth and focus.

Mohawk will look to carry that momentum into their next contest as the 1A playoff picture begins to take shape.
