Cottage Grove Lions Girls Volleyball 0-3 Junction City

Junction City handed the Cottage Grove Lions a straight-set defeat Thursday night, taking the girls volleyball match 3-0 in a non-league contest at Cottage Grove High School in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The Lions, who compete in the 4A-4 Sky-Em League, could not find an answer for the visiting Eagles across all three sets. Without a detailed box score available, specific statistical standouts remain unclear, but the result was a clean sweep for Junction City from start to finish. The loss drops Cottage Grove to 7-14 on the season, a tough stretch as the Lions work through the final weeks of the 2026 fall campaign. Non-league results like this one offer valuable experience heading into postseason preparation, giving the coaching staff a clear look at where the roster still has room to grow. The Lions will look to regroup and carry some momentum forward as they close out the regular season schedule in the coming days.
