South Eugene Axe Girls Volleyball 3-1 Grant

South Eugene's volleyball team picked up a road victory Saturday, defeating Grant 3-1 to push its record to 19-9 on the season. The Axe Girls, based in Eugene, Oregon, and competing in the 6A-8 Midwestern League Hybrid, made the trip to Portland and came away with a convincing non-league result against the Generals. Winning in four sets on an opponent's floor is never a given, and South Eugene showed enough resolve and consistency to close out the match without letting Grant force a deciding fifth set. The win adds another quality road result to a resume that already reflects a strong 2026 fall campaign. With the regular season winding down, every match carries added weight as South Eugene positions itself heading into postseason consideration. The Axe Girls will look to carry this momentum forward and continue building on what has been a productive and competitive season.
