South Eugene Axe Girls Volleyball 3-0 South Medford

South Eugene volleyball swept South Medford 3-0 on Wednesday evening, picking up a clean non-league win at home in Eugene, Oregon. The Axe, who compete in the 6A-8 Midwestern League Hybrid, dominated all three sets to hand the Panthers a shutout loss and keep their season rolling in a positive direction. The straight-set victory showed a team playing with confidence and efficiency, giving no ground to a South Medford squad that made the trip up from the Rogue Valley. South Eugene improves to 17-8 on the season with the result, a record that reflects a group that has been tested throughout the fall and continues to find ways to win when it counts. With the regular season winding down, the Axe will look to carry this momentum into their final stretch of matches and position themselves well heading into postseason play. Their next opportunity comes soon, and Wednesday's performance gives the program plenty to build on.
