South Eugene Axe Girls Volleyball 3-0 Sheldon

South Eugene swept Sheldon 3-0 on Saturday in a non-league girls volleyball match played at home in Eugene, Oregon, lifting the Axe squad from the 6A-8 Midwestern League Hybrid to a 19-9 record on the season. The clean sweep signaled a strong statement from South Eugene, which allowed no sets to slip away against a familiar in-town rival. Controlling the match from start to finish, the Axe demonstrated the kind of cohesive play that has carried them through a competitive fall schedule. Winning all three sets without dropping one reflects both serve efficiency and sharp defensive positioning, two areas that have defined South Eugene's better performances this season. The timing could not be better, as a 19-win campaign heading deeper into November suggests the program has found solid footing. South Eugene will look to carry that momentum into upcoming action and continue building toward the postseason with confidence in their corner.
