Pleasant Hill Billies Girls Soccer 5-0 Sweet Home

Pleasant Hill's girls soccer team rolled to a dominant 5-0 shutout victory over Sweet Home on Tuesday evening, keeping the Billies perfect in 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 league play at home in Pleasant Hill, Oregon. The convincing win moved Pleasant Hill to 9-1-3 overall on the season and an unblemished 9-0 in conference play. The Billies controlled the match from start to finish, finding the net five times while holding Sweet Home scoreless throughout. The shutout victory demonstrated the team's balance on both ends of the field, combining an efficient attack with a stout defensive effort that kept the Huskies from generating any real threats. The win builds on what has been an impressive fall campaign for Pleasant Hill, which has now dropped just one match all season. With the regular season winding down, the Billies are in strong position heading into the postseason. Up next, Pleasant Hill will look to extend its league winning streak and solidify its standing as a legitimate playoff contender.
