Elmira Falcons Girls Soccer 0-8 North Bend

North Bend handed Elmira a lopsided 8-0 defeat in Mountain Valley Conference (3A) girls soccer Thursday evening at Elmira, Oregon, as the Bulldogs struggled to contain a sharp visiting North Bend side. The shutout loss drops Elmira to 1-10 overall and 1-7 in conference play, extending a difficult stretch for a young squad working to find consistency in the final weeks of the fall season. North Bend came in with clear momentum and showed it from the opening whistle, building a commanding advantage that Elmira's defense could not slow. Despite the lopsided result, the Bulldogs continued to compete at home in front of their supporters, gaining valuable experience against a quality opponent. With the regular season winding down, Elmira will look to regroup and finish on a stronger note. The Bulldogs return to action next week with another league matchup, an opportunity to compete with renewed energy and put Thursday's result behind them.
