Elmira Falcons Girls Soccer 0-8 Marshfield

Marshfield handed Elmira a tough 8-0 defeat Tuesday in a 4A-4 Sky-Em League girls soccer contest played away from Elmira, Oregon. The loss drops the Elmira girls to 1-12 overall and 1-9 in league play as the season winds toward its close. Marshfield controlled the match from the outset, building a commanding advantage that Elmira could not answer across the full 80 minutes. Without a detailed box score available, the scoreline tells the story of a difficult road afternoon for the visitors. The result continues a challenging stretch for Elmira, who have found wins hard to come by this fall. Despite the scoreline, road league matches of this nature provide young players with valuable experience against quality competition, and those moments can shape the program's development heading into the offseason. Elmira will look to close the season on a positive note, using remaining matches as an opportunity to build confidence and momentum for the spring training cycle ahead.
