Monroe Dragons Girls Volleyball 3-0 Waldport

A clean three-set sweep pushed Monroe girls volleyball past visiting Waldport on Tuesday evening, with the Dragons claiming a 3-0 non-league victory at home in Monroe, Oregon. The win gives the 2A-4 Valley Coast Conference program a boost heading into the final stretch of the fall campaign, improving their overall record to 5-11. Waldport made the trip up the coast, but Monroe controlled the tempo from the opening serve, denying the Warriors a single set throughout the match. The sweep is a confidence-building result for a Dragons squad that entered the night at 4-11, and picking up a decisive home win without dropping a set speaks to the focus Monroe brought on Tuesday. Non-league matchups like this one offer valuable opportunities to sharpen fundamentals and build momentum before postseason positioning comes into focus. Monroe will look to carry the energy from this performance into its next match and continue building on a positive finish to the 2026 season.
