Monroe Dragons Girls Volleyball 0-3 Lowell

Lowell handed Monroe's girls volleyball team a 3-0 defeat Thursday evening, sending the 2A Dragons home from Lowell with a tough road loss. Monroe, based in Monroe, Oregon, fell in straight sets in this non-league matchup, unable to find an answer for a Lowell squad that controlled the match from start to finish. The Dragons dropped all three sets without taking one, a result that reflects the challenge of facing a determined opponent away from home. Monroe falls to 4-11 on the season with the loss. The Dragons have faced a demanding schedule through the fall, and moments like Thursday's trip to Lowell serve as valuable experience for a young program still building its footing in 2A competition. Monroe will look to carry lessons from this match into its next opportunity, with the postseason approaching and every remaining contest carrying added weight. The Dragons will hope to find their rhythm and close the regular season on a stronger note.
