Oakridge Warriors Football 24-33 Monroe / Alsea

Monroe/Alsea defeated Oakridge 33-24 in a non-league high school football game played Friday night in Oakridge, Oregon, home of the Eagles, who compete in the East Cascades Conference (2A). The loss drops Oakridge to 2-3 on the season as the Eagles were unable to find enough answers defensively to slow down the visiting Dragons. Trailing by nine at the final whistle, Oakridge showed enough offensive life to keep the game within reach, but Monroe/Alsea's 33-point output proved to be the difference on a cool October evening.
