Lowell handed Oakridge a 44-22 defeat in non-league high school football action Friday night, with the Eagles making the trip to Lowell and coming home on the short end of the scoreboard. Oakridge, representing the 2A-SD3 Special District 3 community in Oakridge, Oregon, could not keep pace with the Cardinals in a game that got away in the second half. The 22-point margin reflects a tough night for an Eagles squad that has shown fight throughout the fall schedule. Lowell controlled enough of the game to pull away and hand Oakridge a difficult road loss. With the result, the Eagles move to 3-6 on the season, a record that reflects the challenges of competing in a physical classification where every snap counts. The loss was a non-league contest, meaning district standings remain unaffected, but the sting of a lopsided road defeat is real. Oakridge will look to close out the 2026 season on a strong note and carry momentum into the offseason.
