Junction City Tigers Girls Volleyball 0-3 Marist Catholic

Marist Catholic handed Junction City a 3-0 defeat in girls volleyball Thursday evening, handing the Tigers their third loss of the season in a non-league road matchup. The Junction City squad, representing Junction City, Oregon, and competing in the Sky-Em League (4A), fell in straight sets at Marist Catholic's gym. The loss drops the Tigers to 13-3 on the season, though the result carries no league implications for either program. Junction City entered the match having built one of the stronger records in the region through the early fall schedule, and facing a competitive Marist Catholic program provided a useful measuring stick heading into the heart of league play. The Tigers were unable to find their footing across all three sets, as the Spartans controlled the match from wire to wire. Junction City will look to bounce back and refocus when league competition resumes, with the Sky-Em schedule offering plenty of opportunities to sharpen the roster before the postseason push begins.
