Mapleton Sailors Girls Volleyball 3-1 Eddyville Charter

Mapleton picked up a much-needed victory Tuesday, defeating Eddyville Charter 3-1 in a non-league girls volleyball match played in Mapleton, Oregon. The Logs, competing in the 1A classification, earned the four-set win at home to improve their overall record to 2-7 on the season. After a slow start to the fall campaign, the result offers a genuine lift heading into the back half of the schedule. Mapleton dropped one set along the way but showed enough consistency across the match to put the Eddyville Charter visitors away. Non-league matchups like this one serve as valuable measuring sticks, giving the Logs a chance to sharpen their game against different competition before returning to league play. The win builds on the momentum of an otherwise difficult early stretch and gives the program something positive to build from. Mapleton will look to carry this confidence forward as the 1A season continues in the weeks ahead.
