Lowell Devils Baseball 4-7 McLoughlin

The Red Devils wasted no time making a statement in their 2026 baseball season opener. Lowell pounded McLoughlin 14-4 at home Friday afternoon, putting together an offensive showcase that had to feel good after months of winter preparation.
The Red Devils jumped on the visiting Eagles early and never let up, building a commanding lead that turned the non-league contest into a comfortable victory. While McLoughlin managed four runs of their own, Lowell's bats were simply too much to handle on this March afternoon.
The lopsided win gives first-year head coach momentum heading into what promises to be a competitive spring schedule. Getting quality at-bats against live pitching in game conditions is invaluable this early in the season, and the Red Devils certainly took advantage of those opportunities.
Lowell moves to 1-0 as they continue building toward league play. The Red Devils will look to maintain this early-season offensive rhythm when they take the field again next week.
