Elmira Falcons Boys Soccer 0-7 Junction City / Harrisburg

Junction City/Harrisburg handed Elmira a 7-0 defeat in 4A-4 Sky-Em League boys soccer Thursday evening at Elmira, Oregon, leaving the Eagles searching for answers late in the fall campaign. The Tigers controlled the match from the opening whistle, finding the net seven times while keeping the Elmira attack completely off the board. Without a detailed box score, the margin alone tells the story of a difficult night for the home side. Elmira falls to 1-14-1 overall and 0-12 in league play with the result. The Eagles entered the contest at 1-13-1, and the gap in the final score reflects the challenges this group has navigated throughout a demanding season. Despite the tough stretch, the players on the field continue to represent their school and community each time they step out. Elmira will look to close out the remainder of the schedule with effort and compete for a strong finish before the postseason picture becomes clear.
