Junction City Tigers Football 24-20 La Grande

Junction City's football team came away with a hard-fought 24-20 victory Friday night, traveling to La Grande to pick up a critical late-season win. The Tigers, representing Junction City, Oregon, and competing in the 4A-SD3 Special District 3, improved to 7-3 on the year with the non-league road result.

Facing a La Grande squad on its home turf, Junction City held on through a tight finish, protecting a four-point lead when it mattered most. The 24-20 final suggests both offenses found ways to move the ball, while the Tiger defense made enough stops down the stretch to seal the outcome.

Picking up a road win against a program outside the district is no small thing, especially this late in the season. It adds a measure of confidence heading into the postseason window, as Junction City looks to carry that momentum forward.

The Tigers will look to build on this result as the 2026 playoffs approach. Stay tuned to Eugene Sports Hub for updates on Junction City's postseason schedule.
