Lowell Devils Girls Volleyball 1-3 Crosshill Christian

Crosshill Christian took the match from Lowell's girls volleyball team Monday, winning 3-1 in a non-league contest held in Lowell, Oregon, home of the 2A-4 Valley Coast Conference Cardinals. The loss drops Lowell to 9-4 on the season after what had been a strong stretch of play heading into the matchup. Crosshill Christian proved to be a tough test, claiming three sets to Lowell's one and showing enough consistency to keep the Cardinals from finding sustained momentum across the match. The lone set Lowell captured offered a glimpse of the competitive fire this team has displayed throughout a fall campaign that still reflects more wins than losses. Non-league games like this one serve a purpose beyond the standings, exposing teams to different styles and helping coaches identify areas to sharpen before league play intensifies. The Cardinals will look to regroup and carry the lessons from Monday into their next opportunity, with plenty of volleyball still left to play this season.
