Creswell Bulldogs Girls Soccer 1-0 Central Linn

A single goal was all Creswell needed, as the Bulldogs girls soccer team held off Central Linn 1-0 in a 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 league match Wednesday in Creswell, Oregon. The shutout victory pushed Creswell to 10-4-1 overall and an impressive 10-1 in conference play, cementing the Bulldogs as one of the top teams in the district heading into the final stretch of the fall season. Defensive discipline defined the afternoon, with Creswell keeping Central Linn off the scoreboard entirely while converting the one opportunity that mattered most. That kind of efficiency in close league contests is a strong indicator of a team that knows how to win the games it needs to win. With the postseason approaching, Creswell will look to carry that momentum forward and protect its standing near the top of the Special District 4 standings.
