Churchill Lancers Girls Volleyball 3-0 Willamette

Churchill volleyball handed Willamette a clean sweep Thursday evening, winning 3-0 in a non-league home match at Churchill High School in Eugene, Oregon, where the Lancers compete in the 5A-6 Midwestern League Hybrid. The straight-sets victory pushed Churchill's record to 11-12 on the season, a timely boost as the calendar turns toward the final stretch of fall play. Coming in at 10-12, the Lancers needed a performance that built momentum, and a three-set sweep delivers exactly that kind of confidence heading into the weeks ahead. Without dropping a set, Churchill controlled the flow of the match and denied Willamette any chance to find a foothold. For a program working to finish the season on a stronger note than it started, Thursday's result is a step in the right direction. The Lancers will look to carry that energy into their next outing and keep the winning feeling going as postseason positioning draws closer.
