About this program
This class focuses on developing coordination, endurance, and smooth transitions between swimming positions. Students will practice rolling from front to back and back to front while maintaining control in the water. They will strengthen their swim-roll-swim skills by combining arm strokes and elementary backstroke while changing directions and swimming continuously back to the wall. Emphasis is placed on efficient movement, confidence, and water safety. Prerequisite: Students can perform arm strokes with kick, elementary backstroke with kick, and be able to change direction to return to the wall.
