About this program
Grades 4-5 Girls. Elementary School Sports is a fun and welcoming sports program for elementary-aged kids, regardless of skill or ability. During the six-week basketball season, young athletes build skills, grow confidence, and learn to be part of a team. Coaches will focus on teamwork, communication, and good conduct while introducing the fundamentals of basketball in a supportive, recreational environment. Teams practice on Mondays and Wednesdays at their elementary schools. Participants will wear a team jersey to represent their school in basketball games, played on Thursday evenings at Bob Keefer Center. Transportation to games is not provided. There are no practices on no-school days.
