Oakridge Warriors Softball 12-26 Pleasant Hill
The Oakridge Warriors couldn't keep pace in a high-scoring softball affair, falling to Pleasant Hill 26-12 at home Monday afternoon. Despite both teams combining for 38 runs in the non-league contest, the Warriors found themselves on the wrong side of the offensive explosion. The game featured plenty of action on both sides, with Oakridge managing to plate 12 runs but unable to contain Pleasant Hill's potent lineup throughout the contest. The loss drops the Warriors to 3-8 overall as they continue working through the challenges of their spring campaign. While the defeat was disappointing, the offensive output showed signs of the Warriors' capability at the plate when they get their timing down. Oakridge will look to regroup and build on the positive aspects of their hitting performance as they prepare for upcoming games. The Warriors have shown flashes of their potential this season and will aim to put together more complete performances in their remaining contests. The team continues to develop chemistry and experience that should serve them well moving forward.
