Creswell's bats came alive early and often Thursday afternoon, handing the Oakridge Warriors an 8-3 setback in non-league softball action. The Warriors, who entered the contest with a 3-1 record, couldn't match the Bulldogs' offensive output on the road.

After a strong start to the 2026 spring season, Oakridge found themselves in an uphill battle against a Creswell squad that capitalized on scoring opportunities throughout the game. The Warriors managed three runs but were unable to keep pace with the Bulldogs' eight-run performance.

The loss drops Oakridge to 3-2 overall as they continue building toward league play. While the non-conference result won't impact their standing within their league, it provides valuable experience against quality competition outside their regular schedule.

Head coach and players will look to bounce back from this road setback as they prepare for upcoming contests. The Warriors have shown they can compete at a high level this spring, and Thursday's loss serves as motivation moving forward. Oakridge returns to action next week looking to get back in the win column.
