Lane Titans Men's Basketball 104-55 Corban JV

Corban JV walked into Lane's gym on January 16 with enough firepower to keep things interesting early, but the Lane Titans men's basketball team made sure that window closed fast. Lane led 56-31 at halftime and never looked back, rolling to a 104-55 victory that was never truly in doubt.

Gavin Inglish was the sharpest shooter on the floor, pouring in 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting in just 15 minutes, including a perfect 4-of-4 from three-point range. He barely had time to break a sweat. Keivon Riley added 12 points on efficient 6-of-8 shooting, and brought the defensive energy too, recording four steals and a block in 13 minutes. Justin Davis chipped in 9 points while leading the team with five steals, a reminder that Lane's defense helped fuel this offense all night.

For Corban JV, Cole Johnson gave his team everything he had, finishing with a game-high 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting with three made threes. But the visitors as a whole shot poorly and committed costly turnovers throughout, never finding a rhythm against Lane's swarming defense.

The win moves Lane to 7-9 overall. This was a non-conference contest, so it carries no direct weight in the standings, but the confidence and depth on display matter. Fourteen Titans scored, and nobody played more than 17 minutes. That kind of balance is worth building on.

The Titans will need that momentum when conference play resumes. Lane sits at 2-2 in league play with plenty still to decide.
