South Eugene Axe Softball 3-15 South Medford

South Medford dominated from the first inning Saturday, shutting out South Eugene 11-0 in a non-league softball matchup at South Eugene High School. The Raiders struggled to generate offense against the Panthers' pitching staff while allowing double-digit runs in what became a challenging afternoon on the diamond.

The loss drops South Eugene to 4-3 overall as they continue working through the early portion of their spring schedule. South Medford capitalized on scoring opportunities throughout the contest, building a commanding lead that South Eugene was unable to answer.
