South Eugene Axe Baseball 12-8 Redmond

The Axemen found their offensive rhythm at exactly the right time Thursday afternoon. South Eugene baseball exploded for 12 runs in a high-scoring 12-8 victory over Redmond on the road, providing a much-needed boost as the Southwest Conference (6A) season winds down for the Eugene, Oregon squad.
After struggling through a challenging campaign, South Eugene's bats finally came alive against Redmond pitching. The Axemen built early momentum and managed to hold off a late Panthers rally to secure their fourth win of the season.
The victory moves South Eugene to 4-16 overall and 2-16 in conference play, giving the team positive momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. While the offensive outburst was encouraging, the Axemen will need to tighten up defensively after allowing eight runs.
South Eugene will look to carry this offensive energy into their remaining games as they aim to build on this breakthrough performance and finish the season on a positive note.
