Sheldon Irish Girls Volleyball 3-2 Lincoln

Sheldon's girls volleyball team earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Lincoln on Saturday, picking up a non-league win on the road. The Irish, who represent Eugene, Oregon, in the 6A-8 Midwestern League Hybrid, had to dig deep in five sets to come away with the result. With the win, Sheldon moves to 19-12 on the season. Road victories in five-set matches are never easy, and this one showed the kind of resilience a team needs heading into the final stretch of the fall campaign. The Irish had to weather momentum swings throughout the match, twice staring down the possibility of defeat before finding a way to pull through when it mattered most. Lincoln pushed Sheldon to the limit, making this a quality test regardless of the non-league designation. The Irish will look to carry that late-match composure into their remaining schedule as they close out the 2026 season.
