Oakridge Warriors Softball 2-7 Powers

Powers jumped on Oakridge early and never looked back, cruising to a 7-2 softball victory Saturday afternoon at Oakridge High School. The visiting team built a comfortable lead through the middle innings, leaving the Warriors chasing runs in the late frames.

Oakridge managed to scratch across two runs but couldn't generate the sustained offensive pressure needed to mount a serious comeback against Powers' pitching. The Warriors showed flashes of their potential at the plate but left too many scoring opportunities on the base paths.

The loss drops Oakridge to 3-5 overall as they continue working through a challenging early-season schedule. While the record may not reflect it yet, the Warriors have shown steady improvement in recent outings, particularly on defense where they've tightened up their fundamentals.
