North Eugene Highlanders Girls Volleyball 3-1 Thurston

North Eugene picked up a road victory Thursday night, defeating Thurston 3-1 in girls volleyball to improve to 14-5 on the season. The Highlanders, who compete out of Eugene, Oregon in the 5A-6 Midwestern League Hybrid, made the trip to Springfield and left with a convincing four-set result against the Colts. Playing away from home in a non-league contest is never a guarantee, and North Eugene handled the challenge well, taking three of four sets to secure the win. The victory adds another quality result to what has been a strong fall campaign for the Highlanders, who entered the match at 13-5. Winning on the road in a non-league setting gives the program valuable experience and momentum as the postseason approaches. North Eugene will look to carry this result forward and build on it in the coming weeks, with league standings and playoff positioning still very much in play for a team that has proven it can compete away from home.
