Monroe Dragons Football 36-12 Central Linn

Monroe football picked up a convincing 36-12 non-league victory over Central Linn on Friday night in Monroe, Oregon, giving the 2A-SD3 Special District 3 Dragons a much-needed boost down the stretch of the fall season. The win moves Monroe to 3-5 on the year after entering the night at 2-5, a result that carries real momentum heading into the final weeks of the campaign. The Dragons controlled the contest from early on, building a lead that Central Linn could not seriously threaten, as the 24-point margin tells the story of a team that was sharper and more physical on home turf. For a squad that has battled through a difficult schedule this fall, a performance like this serves as a reminder of what Monroe is capable of when things click. The Dragons will look to carry that confidence into their next game as they work to close the season on a strong note.
