Mohawk Mustangs Football 62-6 Camas Valley

Mohawk's football team left no doubt Friday night, routing visiting Camas Valley 62-6 in a non-league contest at home in Marcola, Oregon, as the 1A[8]-SD2 Special District 2 program improved to 4-2 on the season. The final margin told the story clearly. Mohawk controlled the game from start to finish, piling up points in a performance that underscored just how dangerous this group can be when firing on all cylinders. Camas Valley had little answer for the Mohawk offense, and the defense made sure the visitors had almost nothing to celebrate, holding them to a single score all night. The 56-point victory stands as one of the more commanding efforts of the season for Mohawk, giving the team real confidence heading into the stretch run. With a 4-2 record now in hand, Mohawk will look to build on this momentum next week and keep pace in the hunt for postseason positioning.
