McKenzie Eagles Girls Volleyball 3-2 Siletz Valley

McKenzie girls volleyball picked up a hard-fought five-set victory on the road Thursday, defeating Siletz Valley 3-2 in a non-league matchup. The Bears, who represent Vida, Oregon, in the 1A-3 Mountain West League, gutted out the win away from home in what proved to be a closely contested battle from start to finish. The five-set format speaks to how evenly matched both squads were on the night, with McKenzie ultimately finding a way to close it out when it mattered most. The victory moves the Bears to 9-14 on the season, a meaningful boost heading into the final stretch of the fall campaign. After a stretch where wins were hard to come by, Thursday's result shows this group has the resolve to compete and win close matches. McKenzie will look to carry that momentum forward as the schedule winds down and postseason positioning comes into focus.
