Marist Catholic Spartans Girls Soccer 11-0 Elmira

Eleven goals and a clean sheet told the story Tuesday as Marist Catholic girls soccer rolled past Elmira 11-0 in a Sky-Em League (4A) home match in Eugene, Oregon. The Spartans were relentless from the opening whistle, building an insurmountable lead and never allowing the Falcons a foothold in the contest. The shutout kept Marist Catholic's defense unblemished on the season, a remarkable achievement that has become a calling card for this group. With the victory, the Spartans improve to 12-0 overall and 7-0 in league play, cementing their position as one of the most dominant teams in 4A girls soccer this fall. Every match at this stage of the season carries playoff seeding implications, and Marist Catholic continues to make a convincing case for a top postseason berth. The Spartans will look to carry this momentum forward as the regular season winds toward its conclusion and league standings take their final shape.
