Marist Catholic Spartans Football 10-7 Junction City

A late defensive stand sealed a hard-fought 10-7 football victory for Marist Catholic over Junction City on Friday night, with the Eugene, Oregon-based program improving to 5-4 on the season. The Marist Catholic squad, which competes in 4A-SD3 Special District 3, made the road trip to Junction City and came away with a three-point non-league win that carries real momentum heading into the postseason window. With no detailed box score available, the final margin tells the story well enough. A 10-7 result on the road is earned, not given, and for a team that entered the night at 4-4, finding a way to win a tight game against a motivated opponent says something about the program's resilience. Marist Catholic now sits at 5-4 overall as the regular season winds down. The attention turns to what comes next, whether that means a playoff push or a season-closing statement game, and Friday's result gives the team something to build on.
