Cottage Grove Lions Baseball 5-4 Lakeridge

Cottage Grove struggled to generate offense against visiting Lakeridge, falling 10-0 in nonleague baseball action Tuesday afternoon at home. The Lions managed just scattered hits while the Pacers built a commanding lead early and never looked back.

Lakeridge's balanced attack proved too much for Cottage Grove pitching, as the visitors plated runs consistently throughout the contest. The Lions, meanwhile, couldn't string together the timely hitting needed to mount any serious threats against Lakeridge's starter.
