Harrisburg Eagles Girls Volleyball 3-0 Gervais

A clean sweep on the road gave Harrisburg volleyball its second win of the season Tuesday, as the Eagles defeated Gervais 3-0 in a non-league match played at Gervais. The Mountain Valley Conference (3A) program out of Harrisburg, Oregon picked up a convincing victory, taking all three sets without dropping one along the way.

The result comes at a welcomed time for Harrisburg, which entered the evening sitting at 1-6 on the year. Earning a road sweep against a non-league opponent is exactly the kind of momentum-builder a young season can turn on, and the Eagles walked away with a 2-6 record and some renewed confidence heading into the heart of their schedule.

With league play still very much in front of them, Tuesday's performance gives Harrisburg something to build on. The Eagles will look to carry this energy forward and string together more consistent play as the Mountain Valley Conference season ramps up in the coming weeks.
