The Dalles/Dufur proved too much for Crow on Monday afternoon, as the home team pulled away for a 9-6 softball victory that dropped the visiting squad to 7-5 overall.

Crow showed fight throughout the league matchup, keeping pace with their hosts in what became a back-and-forth affair. The loss was particularly tough given the team's strong start to the season, though they maintain a solid 2-1 conference record heading into the final stretch.

Despite the setback on the road, Crow has demonstrated resilience all spring and remains well-positioned in league standings. The offensive production that generated six runs shows the potential is there for strong finishes in upcoming games.

With conference play heating up, every league contest carries added weight as teams jockey for playoff positioning. Crow will look to bounce back quickly and return to their winning ways as they prepare for their next league challenge in what promises to be an exciting finish to the regular season.
