Crow Cougars Football 26-24 Days Creek

Crow pulled off a hard-fought 26-24 victory over Days Creek on Friday night in a non-league football game played on the road, lifting the Lorane, Oregon-based program from 1A[6]-SD3 Special District 3 to 5-2 on the season. The Mustangs had to fight through a tight contest from start to finish, with just two points separating the teams at the final whistle. Days Creek made things uncomfortable late, but Crow held on when it mattered most to secure the win. The two-point margin speaks to how evenly matched these teams were, and the victory carries extra weight given the road environment and the pressure of a close fourth quarter. Crow entered the night at 4-2 and needed a performance like this to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the fall schedule. With the regular season winding down, the Mustangs will look to carry the confidence of this gritty road win into their remaining games and strengthen their postseason positioning.
