A challenging road trip to Kennedy ended with Churchill softball absorbing a 12-2 defeat on Tuesday afternoon. The Lancers struggled to contain Kennedy's offensive attack in what became a difficult league matchup.

Churchill entered the contest with momentum from a strong start to the season, but Kennedy jumped ahead early and never looked back. The Lancers managed to plate two runs but couldn't generate the sustained offensive pressure needed to stay competitive against a determined Kennedy squad.

The loss drops Churchill to 8-5 overall and 5-4 in conference play, still maintaining a solid position in league standings despite the setback. While the final score was lopsided, the Lancers have shown resilience throughout the season and will look to bounce back quickly.

With several games remaining on the schedule, Churchill has opportunities to strengthen their playoff positioning. The team will need to regroup and refocus on the fundamentals that helped them build their early-season success as they prepare for their next league challenge.
