Harrisburg Eagles Softball 0-4 Gladstone

Harrisburg's softball team couldn't generate enough offense Sunday afternoon, falling 4-0 to Gladstone in a non-league road matchup. The Eagles were held scoreless as the Gladiators controlled the game from start to finish.
The loss drops Harrisburg to 2-5 on the season as they continue working through the challenges of their spring campaign. Despite the setback, the Eagles have shown flashes of potential in their wins earlier this season.
Playing away from home against a solid Gladstone squad, Harrisburg faced tough pitching that limited their scoring opportunities throughout the contest. The Gladiators capitalized on their chances to build a comfortable lead and never looked back.
With the non-league portion of their schedule continuing, the Eagles will look to regroup and refocus on the fundamentals that helped them secure their earlier victories. The team has several games remaining to build momentum and confidence heading into the final stretch of the season.
Harrisburg returns to action later this week as they seek to get back in the win column.
